Human Circulatory System

Medical Studies involve a detailed research of the Human Body System. A study of of the Human Body System involves a deep understanding of the numerous organ systems that make up the human body. Each human organ system is vital, such organ system is the Human Circulatory System.
The Human Circulatory System is also known as the Cardio Vascular System. Human beings have a closed circulatory system. The Human Circulatory System performs the vital function of circulating blood to the entire human body. The human blood acts as the transportation system for the exchange of vital gases like oxygen and carbon dioxide, it carries body wastes from the different parts of the body, and helps in the excretion of these body wastes in forms like that of urine, and sweat.

The Human Circulatory System also performs the crucial function of maintaining the balance of acidity and alkalinity (pH balance) in the human body. The Human Circulatory System helps in maintaining the temperature balance of the human body, that is thermo regulation. It also helps in maintaining homeostatis, this is vital for the healthy survival of not just human beings, but any life form.

The Human Circulatory System is made up of three main components. The components of the Human Circulatory System are the human heart, the human blood, the human blood vessels. If we break down the Human Circulatory System, further, these components of the Human Circulatory System, can be a part of the Systemic Blood Circulation, or the Pulmonary Blood Circulation (pulmonary means of or related to the lungs.)

The Pulmonary Blood Circulation System is responsible for oxygenating the blood. This part of the Human Circulatory System, is responsible for transporting de-oxygenated blood away from the heart, to the lungs. Once the de-oxygenated or impure blood reaches the lungs, the vast network of alveoli carry on an intensive process of exchange of gases. The impure blood that has more of carbon dioxide is purified. The red blood cells (RBCs) carry the freshly acquired oxygen from the lungs back to the heart. One of the vital functions of the red blood cells (RBCs) is the transportation of oxygen in the human body.

The pulmonary arteries carry the impure blood from the heart to the lungs, while the pulmonary veins carry the pure or oxygenated blood from the lungs, back to the heart. From the left ventricle of the heart, pure blood is supplied to the entire body.

The Systemic Circulatory System, involves that portion of the Human Circulatory System, that carries pure or oxygenated blood away from the heart, the various parts of the body. Impure blood is brought back from the different parts of the human body, back to the heart.

In systemic circulation of blood, in the Human Circulatory System, is that the arteries carry pure blood while the veins transport impure blood.

Drugs like Nattosyn, and alternative medicine drugs like Gingko Biloba are known to improve blood circulation. However, no drug should be consumed without the advice of a registered medical practitioner.
