Lung Cancer: Lung cancer is the cancer of the Lungs. The common symptoms of lung cancer are: cough that worsens with time, consistent chest pain, coughing up blood, breathlessness, wheezing, etc. Lung Cancer disrupts in the normal functioning of the lungs specially in gaseous exchange. It is mostly at the later stage of this disease that the signs and symptoms of lung cancer manifest itself. Patients with lung cancer will experience chronic cough, constant chest pain, hemoptysis,pneumonia,bronchitis, swelling of he neck and face, weight loss and lack of appetite and one will also feel occasional symptoms of fatigue.

Asthma: Different people show different symptoms of asthma. These signs and symptoms vary depending upon time and situation. The common signs and symptoms witnessed in Asthma are:wheezing, chest tightness, coughing, short of breath. Some of the symptoms of acute asthma are characterized by struggling for breath, inhalers don't help,flaring of nostrils,paleness, lips turning blue and in case of emergency fainting.

Pneumonia: Pneumonia is an infection of the lungs. The causative agents of pneumonia can range from a bacteria, virus and fungi. When these germs enter your lungs and mature, they resist and weakens your immune system and normal defense system. The signs and symptoms can be mild or serious. It is characterized by cough, yellow-green phelgm/mucus, breathlessness, fatigue, chest pain, fever etc.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): COPD is a disease of the lungs that causes blockage and obstruction of the lungs. Due to such obstruction and blockage it becomes difficult to let air pass or move in and out. COPD results in two major respiratory disorders: chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Signs and Symptoms of Lungs Diseases are mostly common and have similar features. COPD sufferers also face similar and more or less common symptoms. It is characterized by coughing,excessive mucus production, shortness of breath, wheezing, tightness of chest etc. Patients infected with such diseases face persistent coughing and excessive mucus formation.

Chronic bronchitis: Chronic Bronchitis causes inflammation of the lungs that results in excessive mucus production. It is considered to be chronic when the production of mucus and cough is present for more than 1 month for 2 subsequent years. The common signs and symptoms of chronic bronchitis is:cough that produces blood streaked mucus or sputum,shortness of breath, frequent respiratory infections thus leading to worsening conditions, wheezing, fatigue, swelling of ankle, leg and feet with consistent headaches.
